Marmol to WBC
Carlos Marmol has changed his mind and will pitch for the Dominican Republic in the World Baseball Classic. The right-hander said Saturday he talked to Felipe Alou and Stan Javier, both on the Dominican coaching staff, and decided to participate. Lou Piniella says he’s OK with Marmol’s decision.
