Carlos Marmol leaves Tuesday to join the Dominican Republic team and prep for the World Baseball Classic. Marmol tuned up Monday, striking out two of the three batters he faced in the Cubs’ game against the Diamondbacks. What if he has to face Cubs teammate Geovany Soto, who is playing for Puerto Rico?
