No Manny for Dodgers @ Cubs

Manny Ramirez was not on the Dodgers’ travel squad for Friday’s game at HoHoKam Park in Mesa. Ramirez, who signed a two-year deal with the Dodgers on Thursday, has said he’ll need about a week to get ready for games. Among the Cubs pitchers scheduled to start are Ryan Dempster, Justin Berg, Andrew Cashner, Mike Stanton, Luis Vizcaino and Randy Wells.

Is that the same guy the Dodgers had in the playoffs last year? He was good. Why didn’t the Cubs go after him if he was a free agent. Somebody should have let Hendry know that guy was available.

I have the answer, Sanguine! We can nickname Aramis Ramirez Manny. Then we have Manny Ramirez on our team and it’ll be awesome.

I wish we could get Rich Hill back, though.

Manny is a catcher and we already have Soto and Bako, Bako is 1 for 11 this spring but don’t worry he will get his avg up to .200 soon.

Rich Hill is going to have a big year.

We should not have traded Pujols to the Cardinals.
