Carlos Zambrano has hit 16 home runs in his career, and the record for dingers by a pitcher is 38. Could Big Z challenge that?
“If I don’t die, yeah,” Zambrano said. “Sometimes when you think about hitting a home run, like my last at-bat [Thursday], I tried to hit the ball to the moon, and it’s tough. I have to go out and put good wood on the ball and it’ll go out by itself.”
Zambrano struck out twice against Japan’s Yu Darvish in an exhibition game.

I like the name Yu Darvish. It is fun to say. Zambrano is at the top of his game and will hit 20 homers this year!
Zambrano should play 1b when he isn’t pitching and he would hit 30 bombs, more than Dlee will.
Yu Darvish’s father was Whirling Dervish another name for the Tasmanian Devil. Should he not be playing for Australia?
And whats the banter about Big Z’s hitting have to do with what makes homer happy?
