Nice add on signing Esteban German he should be the backup at 2nd base 3base and left field. I saw him play on winter league he has good plate pacience he don strikeout a lot and on the winter league batted over 300 and was the leader of his team nice sign by the cubs he should be given the backup role.

This must be the 10th day in a row that Geo Soto has not bothered to be in the Cubs lineup. I know he was rookie of the year, yada Yoda yada..but come on, get off to bench or get traded to the Orioles.

Soto is with the Puerto Rico WBC team.

Hmmm…I feel so much better about losing DeRosa,
we now have the fearsome Estaban German.
Hey, let’s see if Davey Rosello is available too.
Who knows, the only thing keeping Soto from being traded
to the orioles is that he IS busy playing
for Puerto Rico. Give him a chance to have a sophomore slump and mayby hendry will trade him to the O’s….
for Hill and Pie.

Will- Tell me about yourself, I have an english teacher I would like you to meet.

Let Fukudome fill in for Aram at 3b, he hits from the left side of the plate. Zambrano’s arm is pretty good, he could play 3b also and hit from the left side.

Rich Hill hits righty, good trade.
