Miles to go
Cubs infielder Aaron Miles has been able to throw the last two days, and says his right shoulder feels good. Lou Piniella said when Miles returns, he’ll likely play second base to avoid aggravating the shoulder, which he bruised falling into first base. “I’ll have to make some throws from short in batting practice and see how I feel the next day before he puts me on that side of the diamond,” Miles said Monday.
He has been able to hit the last two, three days, and on Sunday, took batting practice off the coaches. Miles could return as early as Tuesday.
