Classic Cubs update
Expect Cubs catcher Geovany Soto back in camp this week. Team USA rallied to beat Puerto Rico on Tuesday night, 6-5, which eliminated Soto’s team. That means Ted Lilly and the U.S. advance to the semifinals of the World Baseball Classic.
Meanwhile, Korea beat Japan, 4-1. Kosuke Fukudome was 1-for-4, and is batting .250 in the tournament.
