Leadoff blasts
Alfonso Soriano’s leadoff homer Monday off Houston’s Roy Oswalt was the 50th of his career, which ranks third all-time. It’s the first by a Cubs batter on Opening Day since Tuffy Rhodes did so April 4, 1994, off Dwight Gooden. That was one of three homers in the game for Rhodes.

I’m so tired of hearing about Soriano leading off, the only negative thing I see about him leading off is he doesn’t take alot of pitches or take alot of walks he still brings so much to the table and take it you only lead off once! One more concern I wanna address is the depth issue, do you think the Cubs would take a look at Mike Lamb who is a pretty decent left handed bat with power that can play a pretty decent third base plus a few other positions if I’m not mistaken!
