A toast
Starting in June, you can toast the Cubs’ Derrek Lee and help his charity as well. Lee is teaming up with Charity Wines to unveil a “CaberLee.” Get it? Cabernet, Caberlee. Proceeds will benefit the first baseman’s 1st Touch Foundation, which creates opportunities, positive change, and hope for kids striving to overcome challenges beyond their control. The wine will retail for about $13 a bottle and be available throughout the Chicago area. Lee is pictured on the label. White Sox pitcher Mark Buehrle also has his own wine label, a “Buehrlot,” which will be released at the same time. Proceeds will benefit an animal shelter in Alton, Ill. Cheers.
