Wrigley cat update
To anyone wondering what happened to the cat that ran onto Wrigley Field Tuesday night, it was taken to a local vet to be checked. The frisky feline left its mark — it bit at least two of the stadium security staff.

Good! I’d bite people too if someone picked me up and dangled me by my tail! Do you have any idea how much pain that causes a cat? There was no excuse–none–for handling that poor cat that way. Feral cats (if it was feral) can be difficult to keep ahold of without getting scratched, but there are numerous ways of picking them up safely that don’t involve such cruel treatment. The Wrigley staff should consult with a local animal shelter about handling if feral cats are a problem in the neighborhood.
Thank you for the update, it’s sincerely appreciate it. It seemed hurt before being handled, and of COURSE it will bite if scared. if properly handled, it may not have bitten. Hopefully the groundscrew will be better prepared should this happen again.
