5/3 Lineup & Ramirez update
Aramis Ramirez wasn’t ready to start on Sunday, so Mike Fontenot is back at third for the series finale against the Marlins. Here’s the lineup: LF Soriano, SS Theriot, CF Fukudome, 1B Lee, RF Bradley, 3B Fontenot, C Soto, 2B Miles and P Zambrano.
Ramirez did have a good workout on Sunday and Lou Piniella said the third baseman was “almost sure” for Monday night’s game against the Giants. When Ramirez does come back, Piniella hinted he may change up the 3-4-5 combo of Derrek Lee, Bradley and Ramirez, but didn’t way how. One option would be to keep Kosuke Fukudome in the No. 3 spot.
