Colvin to Tennessee
Outfielder Tyler Colvin, the Cubs’ No. 1 Draft pick in 2006, was expected to be promoted to Double-A Tennessee on Sunday. Colvin is coming back from Tommy John surgery on his left elbow last November, and he began the season at Class A Daytona. In 31 games, he was batting .257 with one homer, five doubles and 10 RBIs. He spent all last season at Tennessee.

WOO-HOO! I’ll sleep better tonight knowing that!
He has only batted 250 at High A.. was a bust last year at AA.. don’t expect much more this year. Probably one of the worst draft picks in Cubs history.
HAVE you ever seen a good cubs draft pick in the first round lets look at the last 15 years
1994 Jayson Peterson
1995 Kerry Wood
1996 Todd Noel
1997 John Garland
1998 Corey Patterson
1999 Ben christensen
2000 Lou Montanez
2001 Mark Prior
2002 Bobby Brownlie
2003 ryan harvey out of baseball
2004 grant johnson out of baseball
2005 Mark Pawlek out of baseball
2006 tyler colvin
2007 Josh Vitters
2008 Andrew Cashner
OF those drafts throw out the last two and you got some serious serious busts there
That is some good investigative reporting my friend. If the Ricketts do hire me as their new GM I’m gonna find a spot for you…how’s this sound: “President of Not Screwin’ Up the Draft Picks”? And for Cubbeeblue of course: “Head of Security and Counterhendryism Unit” ….I could see the T.V. show now…. that would be better than even a CSI Chicago show.
