7/11 No Santo
Ron Santo will miss Saturday’s Cubs game because he’s still feeling ill. Santo was at Wrigley Field on Friday, did his pregame interview with Lou Piniella for WGN Radio, and then went home. A WGN spokesman said Santo had a gall bladder infection, and expected to rejoin the team after the All-Star break in Washington.
