7/18 Pinky power
Alfonso Soriano’s homer in the sixth inning Saturday night was his first since June 7 and ended a string of 120 homerless at-bats, the second longest stretch of his career. The longest was 184 at-bats from April 15-June 13, 2001, when he played for the Yankees. Not bad for a guy who dislocated his right little finger Thursday, popped it back in, and spent most of Friday with an ice bag on his hand.
