8/30 Soriano gets cortisone shot
Alfonso Soriano received a cortisone shot in his left knee Sunday, and was expected to miss at least one more game. Soriano was examined by team orthopedic specialist Stephen Gryzlo at Wrigley Field.
“Thank God, it’s nothing serious,” Soriano said. “The doctor said there was a little inflammation in my knee, so I can take two days and come back and see how I feel.”
It’s the first time Soriano has received a cortisone shot. Some of his teammates assured him that it will help alleviate the pain. The Cubs left fielder says his knee hasn’t bothered him at the plate.

I’m dissappointed because now lou will play soriano who hasn’t been productive this year when he could play fox who got the lumber and still an upgrade defensively or sam fuld who defensively can cover half the outfield can get on base and has base stealing speed
