Carrie just curious what position or positions Jake Fox will be playing in the dominican republic. Also Robinson Chirinos do you think he will be back at AA or will get moved up to AAA on fangraphs.com it has him listed as 2b/ss did he recently make that transition to catcher? Thanks and Happy thanksgiving carrie, Joeydafish and all cub fans.

It’s nice to see Andres blanco is still holding his own offensively through thirty games and he is a switch hitter and awesome defensively. I’m interested to see what happens come spring training if he will be starting at short with theriot at second. It’s also very interesting to note that he is playing some at third too.

Thanks and happy Thanksgiving to you too wrigleyguy1980!
Interesting to say the least is what spring training of 2010 will be be especially with Hendry still at the helm. 2010 will be the a season where playoff expectations will be tempered due to all the holes Hendry created. It’s really hard to fathom that centerfield, rightfield, closer and second base are STILL uncertainties on a major market team with one of the highest payrolls in the division if not all of baseball. With expectations diminished maybe the Cubs (despite Hendry) will pull off a surprise playoff appearance due to some added youth??? One never knows. With Hendry’s lack of forsight he’ll probably trade both Hoffpauir and Fox leaving first base wxposed should Lee suffer an injury just like he did when he traded DeRosa and Ramirez suffered an injury.
