3/5 Cubs wives food drive March 9
The Cubs wives will host the 13th annual food drive to benefit Paz de Cristo on March 9 at HoHoKam Park. The first 500 fans making a donation of 10 non-perishable food items or $20 will receive a 5×7 photo autographed by a Cubs player.
Also, Ryan Dempster has donated a private pitching lesson for up to four people during Spring Training in Mesa. The bidding starts at $500 and runs through March 17. The auction is being held to benefit the Ryan and Jenny Dempster Family Foundation, created to find a cure and raise awareness for DiGeorge Syndrome, a genetic disease which their daughter Riley has.
