3/18 Ted Lilly rejoins team
Ted Lilly rejoined the Cubs on Thursday, beaming after wife Natasha gave birth to the couple’s first child, Theodore Roosevelt Lilly IV. They’re still working on what to call their son — maybe T.R.?
Lilly, coming back from arthroscopic surgery on his left shoulder, was to throw live BP on Thursday, and if he keeps going, could be in the rotation sometime in April.
“I feel pretty darn good,” Lilly said. “The most important thing is [how you feel] when you get up there on the mound. I haven’t thrown any breaking balls. It’s a different deal when you’re throwing bullpens or even BP as opposed to getting in a game and working out of a jam. The intensity goes up quite a bit.”

Great to hear that Lilly is returning so soon. Sounds like he is way ahead of schedule. Hope he doesn’t rush it and cause more problems.
