4/17 Minor matters
Jason Dubois hit his fourth homer and Chris Robinson hit his first in Triple-A Iowa’s 7-4, 11-inning win Friday night over Nashville. Casey Coleman gave up two runs on five hits over seven innings but did not get a decision. Darwin Barney had his second multi-hit game. Micah Hoffpauir has hit in six straight games. John Gaub converted his second save.
Starlin Castro extended his hitting streak to four games in Double-A Tennessee’s 11-7 loss to Chattanooga. Tony Campana had three hits, including a double and a triple.
Aussie Ryan Searle gave up three runs on four hits over five innings as Daytona lost 8-4 to Tampa. Brett Jackson had two hits, and has hit in six straight games. He’s batting .458 in that stretch.
Trey McNutt gave up one run on four hits over six innings in Peoria’s 7-4 win over Cedar Rapids. Hak-Ju Lee has hit in three straight games, going 2-for-4 on Friday, scoring two runs and stealing a base.
