5/4 Minor matters

Casey Coleman gave up one run on four hits over seven innings in Iowa’s 3-2 win over New Orleans on Monday. Brian Schlitter got a groundout with the bases loaded in the ninth for the save. Coleman also went 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Starlin Castro scored on Matt Spencer’s two-out single in the top of the 13th to lift Tennessee to a 2-1 victory over Chattanooga. Castro picked up his 14th multi-hit game, and has hit safely in six of his last seven games.

Rebel Ridling hit his fourth homer of the yearto help Daytona beat Lakeland, 6-3. Brett Jackson had his ninth multi-hit game of the year, going 2-for-5. Ridling has hit safely in six of the seven games he’s played in. David Patton picked up the win in relief.

Matt Cerda hit a three-run, pinch-hit homer in the bottom of the ninth to lift Peoria to a 4-1 victory over Clinton. It was Cerda’s first homer of the year.
