5/7 Lineup & Castro
Starlin Castro was in the Cubs’ lineup Friday, starting at shortstop and batting eighth. Ryan Theriot shifted from short to second, and Mike Fontenot and Jeff Baker find themselves as utility players.
“Let’s get his feet wet in the eight spot and keep him down there and then we can look down the road to see what we’ll do,” Lou Piniella said of Castro, 20, who was called up to the big leagues Friday.
