5/7 Record setting debut

Starlin Castro is the first Major League player ever to drive in six runs in his debut game. The previous high was five, done most recently by Oakland’s Ben Grieve on Sept. 3, 1997. Castro hit a three-run homer in the second in his first ML at-bat and also a three-run triple.
