5/14 The forecast calls for hits

It’s 64 degrees at Wrigley Field, which is a good thing for the Cubs. According to STATS Inc., when the temperature is above 55 degrees at Wrigley, the Cubs are 6-2 and have averaged 7.75 runs per game (62 runs in eight games). They’re batting .338 and have hit 17 home runs in those games.

When the temp is under 55 degrees, the Cubs are 2-6, averaging 2.50 runs (20 in eight games) and batting .242 with zero home runs.

Will it be just a matter of time before Hendry, the genius he is, spends millions of dollars on either washed up players that played well when the temp was over 55 degrees counting on them reviving their career at Wrigley…or will he just have heat lamps installed???
