5/16 Len & Bob & beer

If you’re in the bleachers on Sunday, don’t bother buying Len Kasper and Bob Brenly a beer. At least not during the game. The Cubs broadcasters are sitting in the bleachers next to the batter’s eye in left center. Did you know the first broadcast from the bleachers was done by WGN Radio on May 29, 1964, when the Cubs played host to the Milwaukee Braves and Harry Caray liked to call a game from there as well.

Hey I was wondering where I can get that shirt that Bob was wearing today in the bleachers? I can’t seem to find it anywhere.

Bob had the shirt made at “Strange Cargo,” a store just down the street from Wrigley Field at 3448 N. Clark Street.

FYI: I make custom printed Tee shirts and apparel, as long as it’s not a copyright infringement and your own design, my design, etc., I will be happy to make shirts for any fan! Never wanted to “advertise” but since it came up…Maybe Carrie can arrange some proceeds to go to the “Replace Jim Hendry Foundation”??? Or, I would be happy to give to any charity/good cause as well….but really, what better cause is there?

I’ll have 3 please… one for each of Jim’s good trades…

Ramirez from the Pirates, Lee from the Marlins…what is the third good trade?
