5/19 Carlos Silva's 5-0 start
For the third time in his career, Carlos Silva has started a season 5-0. The Cubs pitcher improved to 5-0 with a win Tuesday night over the Rockies. Silva also opened 5-0 for the Phillies in 2002 and for the Twins in 2004. According to Elias Sports Bureau, he’s the
seventh player in Major League history to start a season 5-0 for three different teams. Roger Clemens, Pedro Martinez and Aaron Sele each did it for four different teams. Johnny Allen, Mudcat Grant and Tommy John did so with three teams.
