5/25 Minor matters – Iowa update
The Iowa Cubs scored seven runs in the third inning to beat Salt Lake, 8-2, on Tuesday in front of 9,070 people at Principal Park in Des Moines. It was the team’s 13th win in 15 games. Sam Fuld singled to start the third inning and the team sent nine batters to the plate. Bobby Scales hit a two-run single, Bryan LaHair added a two-run double and Chris Robinson hit a RBI single in the inning. Casey Coleman picked up the win, giving up two runs on five hits over six innings.
