5/26 Lights out
Somebody must have blown a fuse at Wrigley Field.
The lights went out at the ballpark at 8:25 p.m. CT in the fourth inning of the Cubs’ game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Chicago pitcher Tom Gorzelanny threw a 3-1 pitch to Blake DeWitt which home plate umpire Wally Bell called a ball, and suddenly the ballpark went dark.
Players came off the field and the umpires huddled together, eating sunflower seeds.
Wrigley was the last Major League ballpark to get lights when they were installed in August 1988.

YEAH LOU HAS BLOWN THE FUSE ON THE CUBS SEASONS BY NOT MANAGEING THE TEAM IN OPPTUNE TIME HE HAS BROUGHT ABOUT AT LEASE HALF OF THIER LOSTS HE SAID WHEN HE BECAME MANAGER THAT TEAM BALL MUST BE PLAYED ABOVE ALTHING ABOVE PERSONAL STAT THESE CUBS HITTERS ARE LOOKING FOR HOME RUNS WHEN ALMOST ANY THING WOULD DO THEY WILLNOT GIVE UP THIER SELF FOR THE TEAM OTHER MANAGER DONOT REALY HAVE TO MANAGEING AGIANST HIM BECAUSE THEY KNOW HE NOT GOING TO BUNT OR HIT AND RUN I AM A LOU FAN THE FRIST YEAR HE DID ALL THE THING HE DO NOT DO NOW HE NOT HOLD HITTERS ACCOUNTABLE FOR NOT DOING THIER JOB IF THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO AT THE PLATE CALL IT FOR THEM MAKE THEM TAKE SOME MORE PITCH AT TIME THEY ARE BEING BEATING MY PITCHER THEY SHOULD OWN
