The last player to have a strikeout percentage higher than Marmol — with no innings limit — was Houston’s Travis Driskill in 2005. Driskill struck out two of the four batters (50 percent) that he faced that year. No one who’s exceeded Marmol’s rate has had significant innings pitched whatsoever.
