Chad Tracy started at third base Thursday in the Cubs’ series finale against the Brewers and Derrek Lee, who hit his 300th career homer Wednesday, got the day off.
“It’s been a tough little road trip for everybody — three days, three different cities, a lot of flying, day-night games,” Lou Piniella said. “We’ll give [Lee] a day off and get him in there tomorrow.”
