6/12 Atkins up; Russell to Iowa
Mitch Atkins has arrived at Wrigley Field and will be in the Cubs bullpen Saturday. James Russell was optioned to Triple-A Iowa to make room for the right-hander. Atkins was 4-2 with a 2.63 ERA in 14 appearances (six starts) at Iowa.
