6/14 Cubs fan wins car
Syler Thomas of Lake Bluff, Ill., won a 2010 Toyota Prius at Wrigley Field Saturday as part of a free car giveaway sponsored by the Cubs and Toyota. Thomas won the Prius after his matching baseball was selected by Ryan Dempster before the Cubs’ game against their crosstown rivals, the White Sox. Thomas was one of six semifinalists selected from thousands of fans who entered drawings during previous Cubs home games played May 25-30. At each game, representatives from the Cubs and Toyota selected one entry from all eligible forms submitted at Wrigley Field to determine that game’s semifinalist.
