* They have one hit with runners in scoring position in each of the last six games (6-for-38) with 14 strikeouts in those situations.
* The starting pitchers have 38 quality starts, third-most in the National League and fourth in baseball. In those games, the starters have a 16-11 record and 2.09 ERA with 11 no decisions.
* In the last seven games, Cubs starting pitchers have a 2.78 ERA and 3-2 record. The bullpen has totaled 170 innings this year, fourth-lowest in the NL and seventh-lowest in the Majors.
* They’ve played 24 games decided by one run, tied with the Reds for the most in baseball. The Cubs are 9-15 in those one-run games, and the 15 losses are the most in the Majors.
