6/30 Lineup Wed vs. Pirates

Mike Fontenot is starting at second base Wednesday in the Cubs’ series finale against the Pirates and Koyie Hill is behind the plate for a second day. Here’s the lineup:

RF Fukudome

2B Fontenot

CF Byrd

1B Lee

3B Ramirez

LF Soriano

C Hill

SS Castro

P Gorzelanny

— Carrie Muskat

I love Kosuke, but trade him already. I want to see “RF Colvin” in the lineup everyday!

This afternoon must surely be the end for this management team.

Who was pitching today for the Pirates…? Roy Halladay? Sabathia? Lincecum? Cliff Lee? No, a journeyman with an ERA at first pitch of 6.00!

I urge all genuine Cubs fans to stop lining the Ricketts pockets until they take action?

Many of us spend a fortune following the Cubs. In my case Airfare alone of $2500 a year.

Until the Cubs are rid of the festering cancer that is Kenney, Hendry and Piniella I will not put a single penny more into Cubs coffers.

The fact Jaramillo is not having success either suggests his figures were inflated by the clear Arlington air – so he was another Hendry blow out – or the attitude of the senior players like Lee, Ramirez, Theriot and Soriano stinks – again a reflection of the way Hendry has assembled the roster.

Cashner, Castro and Stevens will be destroyed by being part of this shambles before they should have left AAA.

We can still follow the Cubs – tickets are available below face value on Stubhub… even bleachers fot $10-15 a game. These tickets are already paid for, so we aren’t helping Ricketts.

I will follow the Cubs til I fall over but my relationship has changed until the management does.

Ricketts… you have been warned… and I am not in the minority.

Without Byrd and Colvin, I’d be suicidal!
