The Jesse White Tumblers and the Jesse White Drum Corps performed at Wrigley Field before Wednesday’s game. Chicago Cubs Charities then presented a check for $4,000 to the group to help purchase new drums after some equipment was destroyed in a flood. It was a rousing pre-game — and Marlon Byrd was among those watching the acrobatic kids.

The best play on the field today were the Jesse White Tumblers. It’s time to start making moves. First to go is Jim Hendry. Followed by Lou and the coaching staff. Then back-up the truck: THERIOT, LEE, RAMIREZ, FUKUDOME, NADY and if you have to HILL only to make a deal. I think it’s time to add players that will play hard and want to win. The CUBS have five or six GOOD starters. All they need to do is bring in players that are smart baseball people that want to win.
