The cookbook features more than 50 recipes from Cubs players and personnel, past, present and future, with everything from arepas to ziti. It also includes a history of food at Wrigley Field, plus recipes from some of Chicago’s best restaurants, such as Harry Caray’s, Hub 51, Stanley’s and D’Agostino’s. Best of all, sales benefit the Ryan & Jenny Dempster Foundation, created to help families dealing with 22q (DiGeorge syndrome), a disorder that affects their daughter, Riley.
We’ll have more on the cookbook as the release date approaches but wanted to give Cubs fans a heads up — and head start. It also will be available at more than 100 Jewel stores in the Chicago area.
