Ryan Theriot hit his first home run in nearly 13 months in the Cubs’ 5-2 win Monday. The homer, which was Theriot’s first since June 29, 2009, ended his streak of homerless at-bats at an even 700. According to Elias, it was the third third-longest current home run drought among active players, behind Juan Pierre and Reggie Willits.
