9/1 Cubs wives, food drive & cookbook
The Cubs Wives will sell copies of the Chicago Cubs Cookbook on Monday, Sept. 6, at the Jewel store on 2940 N. Ashland Avenue in Chicago. They’ll be there at 12:30 p.m. CT. Proceeds from the cookbook sale will go to Ryan Dempster’s foundation.
Don’t forget this Saturday when the Cubs wives host their eighth annual Food Drive at Wrigley Field prior to and during the club’s 12:05 p.m. CT game against the New York Mets. That event benefits the Lakeview Pantry. Fans making a donation of 10 non-perishable food items or $20 will receive a 5×7 autographed photo of a Cubs player, limited to two photos per person while they last.
