9/2 Tennessee's Dancy honored
Double-A Tennessee manager Bill Dancy was named the Southern League Manager of the Year on Thursday. This is his first year with the Smokies and he led the team to the Southern League North Division title in both the first and second half, a feat last accomplished by Huntsville in 2007. The Smokies led the league in 11 offensive categories as well as pitching wins and saves.
