Hi Carrie hey I’m an avid cubs fan and a big follower of the minors. You just wrote about Robert Whitenack a AA pitcher who until this year was unheralded. Check out his stats since July 7 2010, the game he pitched and got the win in at Wrigley til now. I think you’ll be amazed at his numbers. In my opinion he has flown under the radar because he s a contact guy , not a strikeout pitcher. Check out his groundball to flyball ratio, as well as home runs allowed, what a commodity during the summer months at wrigley, no?
