Matt Garza, on the DL with a bone contusion in his right elbow, was to throw a side session on Wednesday and if all goes well, would have another one before possibly being inserted into the rotation for the June 6 game against the Reds. That would set up the Cubs pitching vs. the Cardinals this weekend with Ryan Dempster Friday, Randy Wells on Saturday and Carlos Zambrano on Sunday.
