6/5 Garza to start Monday
Matt Garza will be activated from the disabled list and open the Cubs’ series Monday against the Reds. To make room for Garza on the 25-man roster, expect lefty Scott Maine to be optioned to Triple-A Iowa. Maine was recalled on May 17 and held opponents scoreless in four of his first five outings but did allow the opponent to score in his last two appearances.
