6/17 Minor League report

Casey Coleman gave up five runs on eight hits over 5 1/3 innings in Iowa’s 6-2 loss to Omaha on Thursday. Jonathon Mota had three hits and Welington Castillo extended his hitting streak to 13 games with a two-hit game.

Rebel Ridling hit a walkoff homer in the 10th to lift Tennessee to a 4-3 win over Chattanooga in Game 1 of a doubleheader, and clinch the Southern League North Division. In the night cap, Nick Struck gave up six runs — one earned — on seven hits over 5 1/3 innings in a 6-5 loss.

Jeff Lorrick gave up one run on six hits over five innings in Daytona’s 2-0 loss to Brevard County. Jae-Hoon Ha and Jake Optiz each had two hits.

Eric Jokisch gave up one run, unearned, on four hits over seven innings in Peoria’s 2-0 loss to Wisconsin.
