How about moving up Bryan LaHair from Triple A? He is crushing the ball and has been succesful at that level for some time. We could unload Pena to a team looking to make a playoff push while he is on a roll like this and possibly get good value for him while making room at first base to see what LaHair can do in the Big Leagues.

mike quade should be fired not put on the all star staff! what an insult to the game i mean quade should be embarrssed to except. lets put some one on the staff who really deserves it like clint hurdle or kirk gibson

The JOKE that is the Cubs’ season keeps getting bigger…but STILL ON US CUBS FANS!!! Quade on the Allstar staff…..Sandberg working for the Phillies….Brenly still up in the booth….and the biggest joke of all….HENDRY STILL THE GM.

Hendry should not be allowed to make another trade. The Cubs have not had a bad year like this in some time but I have to believe that a number of us saw this coming. And who did we give up for Davis? We can draft and sign the best talent but if the Cubs continue to not develop our own players then they will continue down the same path.
