Daytona’s game against Tampa was canceled because of rain.
Richard Jones went 4-for-4, including a two-run homer in the bottom of the third, his 15th, but it wasn’t enough as Peoria lost to Beloit, 10-4.
Benjamin Wells gave up one run on one hit and two walks over five innings in Boise’s 9-5 in over Everett. Brian Smith didn’t fare as well, giving up five runs on five hits over two innings in Mesa’s 17-2 loss to the Giants.
