7/24 Minor League report

Alberto Cabrera gave up four runs on seven hits over six innings in Iowa’s 4-1 loss to Nashville on Saturday. The I-Cubs have dropped 10 straight road games and six in a row overall.

Trey McNutt gave up one run on six hits over five innings in Tennessee’s 6-2 win over Carolina. McNutt, who has battled injuries this year, did not walk a batter and struck out four. Rebel Ridling had two hits, including his 14th home run, and three RBIs. He’s batting .293.

Jeffry Antigua gave up one run on six hits over 7 1/3 innings in Daytona’s 3-2, 10-inning loss to Palm Beach. Matt Szczur hit a triple and had three RBIs.

Luis Liria picked up the win in relief in Peoria’s 2-1 victory over Bowling Green. He gave up one hit and walked two over four scoreless innings.

Ben Wells gave up three runs on five hits over four innings in Boise’s 4-1 loss to Yakima. Pin-Chieh Chen had two hits, including a triple.
