8/3 Friday is Big Z Foundation day

Friday will be Big Z Foundation Day at Wrigley Field when fans can learn more about pitcher Carlos Zambrano’s foundation and help its cause. The foundation is focused on helping underprivileged children and families in the Chicago area and throughout the world. There will be a booth at Wrigley Field with info on the Big Z Foundation and T-shirts.

“Helping children in Chicago has always been close to my heart as it is a way to
give back to my fans that have always been good to me,” Zambrano said.

There also will be several raffle items and auction items available.  The Big Z Foundation is sponsoring 30 kids from the Boys and Girls Club of Logan Square to watch batting practice and the Cubs’ game against the Reds.

After the game, Zambrano will sign autographs at Cub World on Clark and Addison streets, across from Wrigley Field. The first 200 attendees who make a $30 donation to the Big Z Foundation will receive one autograph on an item of their choosing and the opportunity to have their picture taken with Zambrano plus a Big Z Foundation T-shirt. You can purchase wristbands in advance for the event at Cub World.

The Big Z Foundation also is preparing for its first annual Big Z Foundation Golf
Event in beautiful Antigua, Guatemala, Nov. 4-6.

I was at the Friday AUGUST 5th (FIFTH) Carlos Zambrano autograph signing and had a photo taken. Where do I find my photo? I left my email address and really want to have that photo!
