8/19 Minor League report

Brett Jackson had two hits and scored two runs to help Iowa beat Salt Lake, 8-7, on Thursday. DJ LeMahieu reached base three times and drove in a run and Scott Moore, Ryan Flaherty and Chris Robinson each had two hits. John Gaub converted his seventh save.

Ryan Searle gave up one run on three hits over seven innings in Tennessee’s 4-1 win over Jackson. Junior Lake and Rebel Ridling each homered, and Lake finished with two RBIs.

Evan Crawford had three hits and two RBIs to help Daytona beat Brevard County, 4-3. Matt Cerda and Justin Bour each had two hits.

Peoria collected 12 hits in a 5-4 walkoff win over Wisconsin. Dustin Geiger had three hits and one RBIs and Rubi Silva extended his hitting streak to 15 games with a two-hit game.

Ben Wells gave up seven runs on 11 hits over 3 1/3 innings in Boise’s 8-2 loss to Spokane. Zeke DeVoss had two hits and Kyler Burke walked two and struck out six in 3 2/3 innings in relief.

Mesa committed four errors in a 5-4 loss to the Mariners. Marco Hernandez extended his hitting streak to six games with a hit.
