9/3 Cubs Minor League report

Alberto Cabrera gave up six runs on seven hits over five innings in Iowa’s 15-5 loss to Omaha. Marwin Gonzalez, DJ LeMahieu and Chris Robinson each had three hits.

Tennessee beat Birmingham, 3-2, to remain one game behind first-place Chattanooga. Steve Clevenger had two hits and two RBIs and Jeffrey Beliveau picked up the win in relief. Rafael Dolis converted his 17th save.

Jake Optiz had three hits and two RBIs in Daytona’s 15-4 loss to Brevard County. Justin Bour had two hits and one RBIs.

Luis Liria gave up two runs on three hits over six innings in Peoria’s 4-2 win over Beloit. Anthony Giansanti had two hits and scored a run.

Dustin Harrington had two hits in Boise’s 3-2 loss to Vancouver. Ben Wells gave up two runs on three hits over seven innings and struck out five.
