9/10 Daytona wins Game 1 FSL championship series

Daytona scored two runs in the bottom of the eighth Friday to beat St. Lucie, 3-1, in Game 1 of the Florida State League championship series. Game 2 will be played Saturday night. The game was delayed in the bottom of the fourth for 2 hours 21 minutes because of rain. Elliot Soto drove in the game winning run with a RBI single in the eighth. Frank Batista picked up his second postseason save, striking out two in one inning.

does michael brenly play for daytona? and, if so, how is he doing?

Michael did play for Daytona, and batted .206 in 96 games.

Ouch. Of course, he could give Koyie Hill a run for his money.
