Really? Can’t wait for the new GM to have “other options” FOR A MANAGER.

Carrie…all kidding aside…how do you think Mike Quade is doing as a manager since the September call-ups?

So why is it that we’er not playing the kids again? So we can fig. out Pena gets his ave. up to Ron Cey territory? He is close.

Your killing me Smalls. GIVE ME SOME REASON TO WATCH, PLEASE.

I think it’s because Quademoto wants to kiss veteran butt. IF the Cubs new GM is foolish enough to bring Quade, Pena, Soriano and Ramirez back for 2012 then Quadmeister is assured of being in the good graces of the same old same old veterans that will once again put up offensive numbers good enough for a middle of the pack finish (or worse). Quadcites wants to stay on Dempster’s good side as well and get him 200 innings for some bizarre reason. This manager is obviously being wagged by the tail. The clock is ticking on Quade’s illustrious baseball career that evidently Hendry thought outhshined Sandberg’s Hall Of Fame career and the complete success he established while managing at every minor league level HENDRY TOLD HIM to manage. Does anybody care if Pena hits 30+ homers this season? Will it do anything to elevate his RISP status and put him in the same CLASS as Pujols or Fielder? No, it won’t. Playing Pena will only deter the evaluation of LaHair, a 9.5 million dollar savings at 1B next year which could go toward an ACE pitcher???? An ACE pitcher, not a #2 or #3 which the Cubs have tried to sell us fans as a #1 for too many years.
